***Homework time should not exceed 20 minutes per night (school policy for 2nd grade)
Each weeknight (Monday-Thursday), students will have a math worksheet to review the day's learning.
Students should also be reading at least 15 minutes each night and recording it on their reading log.
For additional help with reading comprehension, here is a list of questions that students can answer after they read. These questions align with mClass assessments, which are both verbal and written responses, and the questions vary based on reading level. You can ask them casually over dinner, before bed, in the car, etc. or have them write out answers in complete sentences.
There is no homework on Friday!
